CJPAC Announces New Chair and Board

It is with great pleasure that the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC) announces the new composition of its National Board.

Dennis Bennie, CEO of XDL Capital Group has completed his term as Chair. The new National Chair of CJPAC is Joel Reitman, CEO of MIJO Corporation.

In addition to this change, CJPAC is pleased to have Mark Waldman as its Deputy Chair, and to welcome new Board Members from across Canada. Joining the Board for the new term are Laurie Mozeson from Alberta; Gordon Berger, Cecil Brauer, Janice Langer, Mark Spiro, Jack Siegel, Elaine Viner, and Henry Wolfond from Ontario; and Robert Vineberg from Quebec.

“I am delighted that Joel has accepted the position of Chair,” said Mr. Bennie,   “As  one of CJPAC’s founding members, Joel’s commitment and dedication to this organization will help to ensure its continued success and growth. As both a highly regarded lay leader in our community and a successful businessman, Joel is the right person to lead this organization.”

Mr. Reitman thanked Mr. Bennie for his outstanding work during his term as Chair of CJPAC.

“Over the last two years under Dennis’ leadership, CJPAC has effectively engaged thousands of community members in the political process and played a critical role in strengthening the Canada-Israel relationship,” said Mr. Reitman,  “With new additions to our Board spanning from coast to coast, we can broaden our reach and engage more community members throughout the country.”
