Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee
Generation: Student Leaders Program Application 2019-2020

CJPAC’s Generation: Student Leaders Program is designed to provide a select group of passionate, motivated Jewish high school students with the opportunity to become more politically involved.

In Vancouver, Alberta, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal, participants will gather throughout the school year to learn from an exclusive lineup of expert speakers. Students will engage in discussions that enhance their political knowledge and help cultivate their political values. They make valuable connections and foster peer and professional networks that in turn bolster the voice of the Canadian Jewish community, all while building their resumes and gaining valuable experiences to support university applications.

Generation participants can apply to attend an exciting trip to Ottawa, where students take their democratic engagement to the next level, touring Parliament and meeting with elected officials and political staff.

  • An interest in politics and the Canadian political process
  • A commitment to attending monthly sessions beginning in November 2019
