Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee
Job Posting: Director of Development

Director of Development

Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC)

Create and drive the campaigns to ensure this vibrant and inspiring organization is well funded for next year and into the future.

CJPAC is a national, independent, not-for-profit multi-partisan organization. For over thirteen years, CJPAC has worked to engage Jewish and pro-Israel Canadians in the democratic process and to foster active political participation. CJPAC’s unique programs and events inspire Canadians with all levels of political experience – whether new, curious, or already engaged – to become more active in the democratic process.

As the Director of Development, you will design and lead all fundraising initiatives to meet the needs of both operations and programs, growing the donor base and increasing revenues with the support of a well-respected Executive Director, a highly-engaged Board of Directors, and a nimble and non-bureaucratic organization.

A passionate self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, you bring a track record of successful fundraising experience. Both a builder and executor, you have vision to create new fundraising strategies and programs, cultivate and steward relationships, and close asks. Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills allow you to influence, persuade and motivate effectively. Curious about political affairs, you have the ability to act in a multi-partisan fashion and inspire others to become more aware of and involved in the democratic process.

CJPAC is a high-energy and entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are welcome and no one rests on their laurels. For the right individual, this is an exceptional opportunity to inspire community members to build relationships within the Canadian political arena, and to work with incredible leaders in the Jewish community and the political sector from coast-to-coast.
