Introducing CJPAC Link: a political engagement program offered to CEGEP students and CJPAC’s link between high school and university.

This brand new program will provide 20 CEGEP students from across Montreal with expert political training and the tools to participate actively in our democracy.

Participants will learn from expert speakers about what it means to be politically engaged in Montreal, Quebec and at the federal level

At a glance, they will:

  • Learn about Quebec’s major political parties and electoral process;
  • Meet with elected officials and staffers for an inside look into their political careers;
  • Master the art of campaigning and how to run for student government, and;
  • Discover how they can play key roles for campaigns in the 2019 federal election.

The program will be run over three sessions in March and April 2019, culminating in an exciting overnight trip to the National Assembly in Quebec City in mid-Spring. There, participants will meet with elected officials, staffers and top political insiders.

This program is open to Jewish and non-Jewish CEGEP students of all political backgrounds. There is no cost associated with participation in this program. Being part of our Generation Program is not a requirement.

CJPAC Link applications will be due on February 28, 2019. Please note, applications will be processed on a rolling basis.
