Municipal Elections

Many cities across Canada have scheduled their municipal elections for October 25, 2010. Below are a number of ways you can make an impact.

In Toronto:
Given the size of the Jewish community in Toronto, CJPAC has created a micro-site for the election, which has information about voting, candidates, footage from our Toronto Mayoral Debate, and how you can get involved. Go to itsup2you.ca/Toronto to learn more.

In Vaughan:
CJPAC is happy to be co-sponsoring a Mayoral Debate in Vaughan with Beth Avraham Yoseph Synagogue (BAYT) and the League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada.
Date: Monday, October 18
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Beth Avraham Yoseph Synagogue (aka “the BAYT”)
Address: 618 Clark Avenue West (south side, one block east of Bathurst).

Wherever you live:
One of the most important ways you can make a difference in an election is to volunteer on a campaign. If you’re interested in volunteering or donating to a candidate, click here and CJPAC will be pleased to help you get involved.
