Brad Salyn

Brad Salyn is a respected figure in Manitoba’s political landscape, known for his nearly 30 years of high-level experience as a communicator, strategist, and consensus builder. Throughout his career, Brad has played a pivotal role in shaping public policy and political strategy across municipal and provincial governments.

He served as Director of Communications, Director of Policy, and Chief of Staff to Winnipeg’s first Jewish Mayor, Sam Katz. His leadership continued at the provincial level, where he was appointed Executive Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations during the global pandemic—a role that demanded clear messaging and strong community coordination. Brad concluded his public service as Chief of Staff to the Premier of Manitoba.

Brad is deeply committed to community engagement, political advocacy, and relationship-building. He is now looking forward to channeling these strengths to support the mission of CJPAC, standing as a strong ally of the Jewish community.

Originally from Brandon, Manitoba, Brad remains actively involved in the Ukrainian community. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children.
