Fellowship Spotlight: McKenzie

McKenzie Kibler is the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Advanced Education in the Government of Alberta. His previous Government of Alberta roles have included Issues Manager to Alberta’s Minister of Health and Press Secretary to Alberta’s Minister of Transportation and Minister of Municipal Affairs.

Before heading out to Alberta, McKenzie was the Manager of Digital Media for Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe. He is responsible for photography, videography, graphic design and social media across the Premier’s channels; providing both digital communications strategy and daily social content. He previously served as Communications Assistant for Saskatchewan’s Minister of Rural and Remote Health, before that interning for federal ministers in Ottawa and Toronto. McKenzie studied Honours Political Science at McGill University, where he served as President of Conservative McGill from 2013 to 2015. He is completing his Masters of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan.
