Fellowship Spotlight: Stav

StavStav currently works in the Communications Directorate at the Senate of Canada as a Communications Officer, where he has provided support to several Senate committees since September 2018. Before undertaking this role, he worked in the Office of the Chief Opposition Whip as a Committees Coordinator and prior to the 2015 federal election, the Office of the Chief Government Whip in the same role. His job in the Whip’s office consisted of advising MPs on Parliamentary procedure on eight different House of Commons Standing Committees and helping the MPs accomplish their goals in these committees. Stav also served as the Junior Lobby Coordinator, where he helped support the debate in the House of Commons and ensured relevant MPs were present for their speeches. He studied Political Science at Concordia University, where he served as the President of several campus associations, such as the Conservative Concordia and Model United Nations.
