Fellowship Spotlight: Adam

AT1F0350-as-Smart-Object-1-2-2[1]Adam is currently a Policy Advisor to the Hon. Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, providing a unique glimpse into the formation of the Minister’s staff team and of the government more broadly.

Adam most recently served as a Junior Policy and Program Officer in the Government of Canada, with experience in national security policy at Public Safety Canada and in humanitarian and refugee affairs at Global Affairs Canada and Canada’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva. Adam serves on the Tamir Foundation of Ottawa board, which empowers individuals with developmental disabilities. He is Curator of the Global Shapers (Ottawa Hub), an initiative of the World Economic Forum that mobilizes young professionals to create positive impact in their local communities. A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his work in interfaith Holocaust education, Adam was also named one of Canada’s “Top 20 Under 20” in 2011 by the non-profit organization Youth in Motion.
