ACTION 2023 Logistics and Information

If you purchased tickets for a friend, please be sure to share this information with them and make sure their name is on the ticket emailed to you from Showpass. See below on how to make that change. Guests will not be admitted if the name on their ticket does not match their ID.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@cjpac.ca or 416-929-9552 x 222.

GETTING THERE

The Grand Bizarre is located at 15 Saskatchewan Rd., Exhibition Place and is accessible by car and public transportation.

Venue Entry:

Entry to the ACTION Party is off of Princes’ Blvd across from the Press Building close to the large water fountain. You will see signs along Saskatchewan Rd. and Princes’ Blvd that will direct you to the entrance. The line up to enter will be as outlined in the yellow line below.

Public Transit:

You can get to the Grand Bizarre on the 29 Dufferin bus and get out at the Saskatchewan Rd stop.

Parking

A number of parking lots are available in and around Exhibition Place.

SECURITY & CHECK-IN:

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, there will be metal detectors at the entrance. We will do our best to check everyone in as quickly as possible. Bring an umbrella if rain is expected and pack your patience while we check everyone’s bags.

Once through security, we will need to see the QR Code on your ACTION ticket along with valid government photo identification. For security reasons, the names on the tickets must match the names of the attendees.

If you need to change the names, simply log in to your Showpass account and select your name on the top right screen and then select “My Orders” and find the correct event. Once found, click on the ‘order options’ dropdown menu. From there, you’ll find ‘edit ticket details’. A window will pop up and will allow you to change the names on the tickets you purchased. When you’re done, click save in the bottom right-hand corner, and that’s it! Your changes have been made. For assistance, please contact Courtney at info@cjpac.ca.

A complimentary bag check will be available to leave your work bag, etc. just inside security, so you do not need to carry it with you into the party.

Security will be checking all items and bags, including computer bags and purses, at the entrance.

THE PARTY:

Doors open at 8pm.

There will be an open bar with cocktails and mocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres, desserts and live entertainment.

We will be posting to social media throughout the evening; please be sure to check us out and post yourself using our handle @CJPAC and the hashtag #ACTION23.

Suggested dress code is cocktail or business attire.
