Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Location: This position is based in Toronto. CJPAC maintains a hybrid work environment, with team members in the GTA working in the office two days per week.

Compensation & Benefits: Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Medical and dental coverage are provided. Vacation for this role will start at 3 weeks per year. In addition, CJPAC observes all Jewish holidays.

Position Overview

As our Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, you’ll play an essential role in driving engagement and amplifying CJPAC’s mission across digital platforms. With a focus on content creation, social media management, and event promotion, you’ll help bring CJPAC’s story to life and inspire political engagement across Canada. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity, build connections with diverse communities, and expand your expertise in digital marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy:
    • Contribute to the development, coordination, and execution of marketing plans that align with CJPAC’s goals and events.
  • Content Creation:
    • Write and design high-quality digital content for newsletters, social media, website updates, print materials, and email campaigns.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, designers, and external partners to ensure timely, impactful content delivery.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and post content across CJPAC’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn), focusing on audience engagement and growth.
    • Coordinate the social media calendar, manage posting schedules, track performance metrics, and drive meaningful interactions.
  • Event Support:
    • Promote CJPAC and partner events, supporting logistics and capturing media content (photos, videos) on-site for promotional use.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or social media management
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for engaging audiences
  • Familiarity with the Canadian political landscape and Jewish community is an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is a plus
